API credits and pricing
API video generation uses the credits in your JEMSU account.

API access
An active paid subscription is required to create API keys and generate videos. The website’s free video offer does not grant paid API entitlement.
How a job uses credits
- The platform validates the brief and checks the available balance.
- Creation reserves credits based on the selected video model, resolution and duration.
- The create response reports creditsReserved and costSource.
- Failed jobs refund reserved credits according to the generation workflow. Inspect the account balance and job outcome before retrying.

There is no public preflight quote endpoint in this contract. Do not present an invented per-video price. Review your model settings and account pricing before large batches.
Reservation and final charge
The reservation uses the pinned video model’s rate multiplied by requested seconds at the selected resolution. Seedance is the default unless video_model selects another. creditsReserved reports the reservation; costSource names the pricing basis.
After delivery, the charge is reconciled against what was actually rendered and any difference is refunded. A failed job refunds the full reserve automatically. If the balance is too low, creation returns 400 insufficient_credits with available and required amounts.
